21 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!  I can't believe I'm half way there.  It just seems like yesterday that DH and I found out were expecting our very first bundle of joy and now it's going to be here in just a couple of months.

The beginning of a new week has already marked some new milestones for me.  Just today I have felt more than just a flutter and a little flick.  I got a full fledge reminder that there is someone inside of me.  This is going to be my child for sure as it likes to make sure it's presence is known and does not like it when someone is invading it's space!!!!!

Talking

crissya

So Lana has said a few words here and there but I have never heard her combine them....well the other night when Matt was away he called and she got on the phone and said

So today was not a great start to the week...I went to bend over the baby gate to put a bowl of water for the dog on the other side and I ended falling down on the baby gate and proceeded to go down the stairs...I have a few nasty bruises to show for it but along came Miss Lana with lots of hugs and kisses to make me feel better....how could I be hurt and upset when she showed me how much she loves me and how she wants my hurt to go away....

Alexander has always amazed me with his depth of love and understanding for and of the adults that have shaped his world. He has been my constant companion since he was born April 14th 2003 and always given me a chuckle with his comments. Understanding Alex the way I do I tried my best to get him ready for this past week when I would have a fairly big operation, be in the hospital, and then need time to recuperate. Thurs the 19th he kissed me and told me how much he loved me and that he would see me soon. I thought well that was easy, seems he's just fine. Friday I had the operation and Sunday morning my son brought Alex to see me. We had a short visit and again I thought well that was easy, he's fine. That afternoon I had a huge setback so asked my son not to bring Alex cause although he seems to handle things well I thought the sight of an additional tube ( this time in my nose )would scare him.. anyways I was able to get back on my feet and home this past Friday. Friday evening my family came home for supper and my little man attached himself to my side, touching and kissing me every few minutes. When we had a few minutes alone he put his hands on my cheeks and stared into my eyes with this ohh so serious look and tells me that I am his dream come true..?? How am I a dream come true Alex? Well Gram, I was so scared when you went to the hospital, I thought I would never see you again, so being able to hug you and touch you is my dream come true.

Ladies I have never cried so much in my life. I had no idea he was that afraid. so I had to let him stay overnight and babysit me Sat. until I was so tired from his constant care that he had to go home to my son lol. But this time he was quite happy to go

Busy, busy!

Mom2C Cayden is such a busy little boy.  He never stops moving!  He's always climbing things, getting stuck in little spaces, finding new uses for things.  He makes me chuckle even though I'm so afraid he's going to hurt himself.  I now have nothing on either of my end tables because he kept pulling everything off.  :S

So Matt and I are sitting this morning just talking while drinking our Timmies when Lana disappears into the kitchen.

She has some magnets on the fridge in there so we let her go by herself but she always is noisy.....not this time

She gets really quiet all of a sudden, so I go into the kitchen to look and there she is with the bottom drawer of my oven pulled out, sitting in it with a book reading to herself...it was hilarious and of course my batteries in my camera are dead....crap LOL

Kissy Kissy

crissya

Lana makes me laugh so hard...she has recently learned how to give a great hug and loves to kiss all the time.  I swear she is constantly kissing us as much as we have kissed her.

crissya

Well Lana is always learning new things but I think it really broke my heart when she decided  to dress herself. She got one sock partly on and she got her shirt on all by herself...I was like no don't be so independent yet that you don't need me.
