I believe BabyLove posted this in the past. It is a great poem. Today I left some dishes dirty, the bed got made around 3:30. The diapers soaked a little longer, the odour grew a little stronger. The crumbs I spilled the day before, are staring at me from the floor. The fingerprints there on the wall, will likely be there till next fall. The dirty streaks on those window panes, will still be there next time in rains. Shame on you, you sit and say, just what did you do today? I held a baby till he slept, I held a toddler while he wept, I played a game of hide and seek, I squeezed a toy so it would squeek. I pulled a wagon, sang a song, taught a child right from wrong. What did I do this whole day through? Not much that shows, I guess that's true. Unless you think that what I've done, might be important to someone With deep blue eyes and soft brown hair, If that's true..I've done my share.

F A M I L Y I ran into a stranger as he passed by, ‘Oh excuse me please' was my reply. He said, 'Please excuse me too; I wasn't watching for you.' We were very polite, this stranger and I. We went on our way and we said goodbye. But at home a different story is told, How we treat our loved ones, young and old. Later that day, cooking the evening meal, My son stood beside me very still. When I turned, I nearly knocked him down. ‘Move out of the way,' I said with a frown.

Oh, the honesty of a child!!! We could learn so much just thinking that simple.
A group of professional people posed this question to a group of 4 to 8 year-olds, "What does love mean?" The answers they got were broader and deeper than anyone could have imagined. See what you think: "When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn't bend over and paint her toenails anymore.
So my grandfather does it for her all the time, even when his hands got arthritis too. That's love." Rebecca- age 8

A Kindergarten teacher was observing her classroom of children while they drew. She would occasionally walk around to see each child's work. As she got to one little girl who was working diligently, she asked what the drawing was? The girl replied, "I'm drawing God. "The teacher paused and said, "But no one knows what God looks like." Without missing a beat, or looking up from her drawing, the girl replied, "They will in a minute." ................................................................. A Sunday school teacher

My Mother taught me the following - Or, somebody's Mother taught them these things... 1. My Mother taught me TO APPRECIATE A JOB WELL DONE. "If you're going to kill each other, do it outside. I just finished cleaning." 2. My mother taught me RELIGION.
"You better pray that will come out of the carpet." 3. My mother taught me about TIME TRAVEL.
"If you don't straighten up, I'm going to knock you into the middle of next week!" 4. My mother taught me LOGIC.
"Because I said so, that's why."

Two babies were sitting in their cribs, when one baby shouted to the other, 'Are you a little girl or a little boy?'
'I don't know,' replied the other baby giggling.
