We're have a lot of problems with Declan's sleeping habit lately so I too have decided to start a diary.
Yesterday I picked up a book called Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child by Marc Weissbluth which was recommended to me by a good friend. I stayed up until 1:00 am reading so I could build better sleep habits for Declan. I don't normally stay up that late but I'm so stressed about the situation that I wanted to read as much a possible. Well, wouldn't you know it.....Declan woke up at 5:00 am and wouldn't go back to sleep. What the ?!?!?! Kind of ironic don't you think (I'm not quoting the beloved Alanis Morissette I promise you)
ARG!
It's now 12:47 pm and Declan has been napping for about 45 minutes so far. THis is the first nap he's taken in a few days.
I should probably read more of the book but I'm afraid that will wake him up! LOL
HE SLEPT FOR 3 1/2 hours this afternoon!!!
We put him to bed a bit earlier than normal tonight so we'll see how that works out.
